Garden Sun Shade

In the summer, the temperatures under a fig tree drop 10 degrees, making it the ideal sun shade. The laser-cut fig decoration gives a high level of opacity, filtering sunlight gently through the aluminum screens for a cool lunch. Displayed here is a composition of three sun-screening panels with shade on one side. In the back, a composition of four Quinze Screens with one open side panel and two planters. In the front, a Schefflera Coffee Table and on the right, a Monstera Planter.

White RAL 9010 powder-coated galvanized steel for the structure and 2mm laser-cut aluminum panels for the sun-screening. Aluminum is the chosen material for the roofing, because it is light, does not heat up under the sun and does not oxidate.
